The Oldest Poison (Part Three)

Following on from my earlier post regarding the blogger Old Holborn, anti-Semitism, the Devil's Kitchen blog and the Gaza situation I received this comment from OH.
Psst

I'm actually Jewish.

Born in Edmonton, North London.
The problem with this as I replied in the comments that being Jewish doesn't stop you from being an anti-Semitic cunt. Especially considering the type of 'blood libel'-esque nonsense that Old Holdborn has been peddling.

On the issue of Jewish anti-Semitism Natan Sharansky, in addressing the upsurge of anti-Semitism in Europe and elsewhere, has suggested the "three Ds" of when criticism of Israel becomes anti-Semitic: when it demonizes the Jewish state, or delegitimizes it, or applies double standards to it.

A number of people easily fit these criteria and can be considered fellow travelers of Israel's crudest and most hate-driven critics. Among them are Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein, Tony Judt, Daniel Boyarin, Marc Ellis, Martin Jay, Michael Neuman, Jacqueline Rice, Judith Butler, Joel Beinin, and Israelis such as the late Israel Shahak and Tanya Reinhart.

So when Old Holborn states that the IDF would slit people's throats for being 'goy' he's not only overstepping the 'three D's', he's adopting the language of the most disgusting anti-Semites.
